The Johto region is a region created by Gamefreak, originally included in the Gen II main-series games Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver versions, and later expanded Pokémon Crystal. The region was developed even further in the Gen IV games Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver.
